Often when we think about the continent of Africa we think of the poor, starving, homeless, the drought but is this really what Africa is about? Are there not any positives? What positive thoughts or images do you have when you hear the word Africa?

ReplyDeleteAfrica is the world's second-largest and second-most-populous continent, after Asia. And because of the bad things that happen there, people take Africa for granted. Usually, people just jump to conclusions and overall think that Africa is bad or poor. However, I believe there must be some positives things about Africa. Not most of the people in Africa must not be bad, right? I believe there are undiscovered positives about Africa. They're just waiting to be discovered.

It is terrible, awful that humans have to suffer in this way. All people deserve the chance to live a good, healthy life, unfortunately that isn't how our world works

ReplyDeleteI thought this was very heart touching because it shows us how we can waste a lot of things and ask for expensive things but a £1.00 is enough for them to get there food to survive!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite sad we take everything for granted like we can get any time.I think it would be quite hard to adapt to such a lifestyle as everything has not been provided for us,in developed countries it only takes a few seconds of open and getsome water, in countries like Africa it takes hours to get to clean water.There is a scarce amount of food to eat as there are shortages of rain which means crops can not be grown and animals cannot be sustained ,quite sad.JLAL MIR 9A

ReplyDeleteWhen I hear the word Africa I think about how brave they are, yes it might be upsetting to hear they are suffering in a poor country with no food water or shelter but i see them as brave people fighting their way out of a cruel world.
